I did this drawing over many live model sessions. I really wanted to capture the solemnity and mournfulness I felt from him. I don't know why I felt that but that's what it was. I remember talking with him on a break and him talking to me about the death of a friend many years ago. I think it did influence my perceptions. Always good to gave good and meaningfull conversations :)
