This drawing was done in the context of my intensive classical drawing program where we studied the effect of light, the background and the different materials. For this drawing, I was studying the effect of direct light on a white subject in a white background. I did this one in graphite on white paper. 
 
It was the first from the apple series during the intensive program. I really enjoy the simplicity of it.
