This was painted when I got back to work after my second maternity leave. Time for me and for my art were scarce and hard to come by. So I decided to take an art class at Academ with Irena Korosec. Those sunday afternoons were my solaces. They felt soooo good. My friend was also taking that class with me. So if we add those ingredients, good compagny, good teacher, art, oil paiting, it equals «Luscious Solace». I don't know if that feeling is influencing me, but I really think that still life is conveying it.
